The Apple Cart Festival

London’s brand new, bespoke festival for lovers of music, comedy, interactive art, cabaret, good food and magic from the Field Day/Underage Festival team.

The Apple Cart festival’s excellent music line includes Patrick Wolf who recently released critically acclaimed fifth album, “Lupercalia” will perform at The Apple Cart festival – this will be Wolf’s only London festival appearance of the summer. Also featuring National Treasures Saint Etienne, two time Grammy winners Soul II Soul, Mercury award winner Badly Drawn Boy and former Beta Band singer Steve Mason, The Magic Numbers who swiftly rose to prominence in 2004 when their eponymous debut album was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. DJ sets will come from three gents with impeccable taste: BBC Worldwide Gilles Peterson, Sean Rowley of Guilty Pleasures and the Joy of Music and Dexys Midnight Runners Kevin Rowland.

 House of Fairytales artists Deborah Curtis and Gavin Turk bring their interactive Candlelit Matinee exclusively to Apple Cart and the Art Car Boot Fair will be driving over from their usual Brick Lane base to sell art from the boots of classic cars. Venn St Market orginally based in Clapham have everything from hog roasts to Japanese curries and Red Squirrel brewery are readying an Apple Cart ale for the Real Ale tent.

The Apple Cart festival has a family friendly programme which caters for tots and their carers,with interactive candlelit matinee, to a puffin book tent where renowed titles and authors bring characters to life. 
The Apple Cart will create a kaleidoscopic, colourful playground for adults and kids alike.
